Latest Forecast from IRLCO-CSA – 6th Sep 2014
SYNOPSIS: There were no reports of African Armyworm (Spodoptera exempta Walker) outbreaks received from any of the IRLCO-CSA Member Countries. Forecast (Oct – Dec): The 2014/205 Armyworm season in the IRLCO-CSA region commences with onset of the rains which is normally in October/November.
Armyworm trap operators are requested to ensure that their traps are serviced, monitor the traps and submit their moth catches to their respective National Forecasting Officer.
