Latest Forecast from IRLCO-CSA – 5th May 2014
SYNOPSIS: There were no reports of African Armyworm (Spodoptera exempta Walker) outbreaks received from any of the IRLCO-CSA Member Countries. Armyworm season has ended in Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe; it continues in Kenya and Northern Tanzania.

There were no reports of African Armyworm (Spodoptera exempta Walker) outbreaks received from any of the IRLCO-CSA Member Countries.
Outlook for May-Jul 2014:
The 2013/2014 Armyworm outbreak season has ended in Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe. There is therefore, very low likelihood of Armyworm outbreaks occurring in these countries. The Armyworm outbreak season continues in Kenya and Northern Tanzania.
